daystar leveling kit..will this fit??

I wasn't try to single anyone out, this simply was the first daystar lift thread that I saw and wanted to share some facts with the OP or others looking to put death spacers on.

I get it. Wasn’t trying to come at anyone. Just wanted to make it clear that while spacers aren’t the best, they also aren’t the worse thing to do on the 4Runner for those who’s needs they meet.

OP, the 5100s are an absolute upgrade but obviously gonna cost you more than the free spacers.

I will give you my two cents. I came from having a full LT Tacoma. I think the 4runner crowd does not offroad at high speeds and therefore will not shock their suspension or push it to the limits where you might break something. Most are daily drivers and for me, I wanted to keep the ride stock (it is already stiffer with KDSS). Going slow over obstacles and cycling the rear suspension will not immediately explode your shocks. Even if you top out or blow it, you can still drive home and buy one for $100 bucks and swap a new one in 15 minutes. The front is a different story. You could overextend the CV joints or shock all the front suspension components if you take a good hit. You can fix this with limit straps and bump stops but then at this point, you might as well drop dough for an upgraded front shock or coilover setup.

Here is a photo of my rear FJ spacer $38.50 off amazon. Lifted rear about 1.5 to 1.75 inches. Save money and buy the FJ spacer. You put the bump inside the spacer and then the spring on top of the bump and install. I also kept the rear oem shocks. Prefer the stock ride over the stiffer 5100 shock dampening. Hope this helps!

Do you happen to have a full side shot of your vehicle?
Also, for clarification, the rear 1.5 spacer is the one Daystar sells for the FJ Cruiser?
Thanks in advance.

I don’t sorry...will try to get more pics soon. Yes it is the fj cruiser spacer 1.5 that’s cheaper on amazon.
