daystar lift ?

I've following the many discussions concerning the daystar lift and thanks to this forum, I've learned a lot. I bought the Daystar 2.5" lift and have not installed it yet. I figure I'll have to purchase the kit to lower the differential as well, but what about buying boots for the cv joints? Is there a good chance the boots will start leaking right away? If so, who sells a boot that is compatible with these types of lifts? I want to buy the necessary stuff ahead of time so I'm better prepared when I end up installing my lift. Is there anything else I should consider once I install the lift?

Yeah, definitely do the diff drop while putting the lift on. A few band clamps around the cv boots solved my leaking problem.

I remember reading about putting hose clamps over the existing clamps. Is that what you ended up doing?

That's exactly what I did. I cleaned the area as best I could with shop rags and wrapped the existing clamp real good with electrical tape for added protection. I made sure the electrical tape was wrapped on the expanded part of the cv boot as well...to protect the boot from the screw-part of the new clamp. I hunkered down pretty good on the new band clamp and it's held up so far.
