I know I know, daystar questions have been asked a million times.
I attempted to install the front spacer lift on my own. I failed b/c i do not have air tools. I was unable to loosen the nut on the upper control arm. I ended up having a shop install them for $100.
I installed airlift 1000 in the rear hoping to add a little lift and level the vehicle as the front was pretty nose high when towing. Well, i no longer tow a trailer and thus no longer need the bags. The ride is just too harsh w/ the bags inflated...and you only get about 1" of lift.
The rear spacers have been sitting in my garage for about a year or so. I want to install them or get them installed.
Is it difficult to install the rear spacers w/ only hand tools, i.e., ratchet set and basic wrenches? I really don't want to go through the trouble of removing everything only to find that i am unable to loosen a nut w/out air tools nor do i want to pay for another install.
Can the spacers be installed w/out removing the bags? I would like to deflate the bags but leave them installed while i install the spacers? Or, would it be too difficult to install the spacers w/out removing the bags?
Thanks for all the help thus far.
