Daystar spacer lift

I am looking at doing a daystar spacer lift on my '06 4Runner along with some FJC coils/shocks. Does anyone know the physical difference between the Daystar KT09124BK and the KT09115BK kits? They look the same, one is for FJC, one is for 4runner. I have found different 4runners with each kit on them... any help??

Good choice by choosing the FJ shocks/coils. Those are two different parts from my understanding. KT09124BK is just a 1" thick front leveling spacer, whereas the KT09115BK is 2.5"/1.5" (front/rear). Just a quick note, with the Budget Boost spacer (first part number), the spacer itself is 1" thick, and you'll get ~2" of lift. If you're leaving the rear stock, this may be too much lift, especially combined with the FJ springs. Do you have a v6 or v8?

I have a '06 SR5 V6, but had an issue with a deer recently.. So i am replacing my stock bumper and Bigcountry Grill Guard with a Perkins Performance Bumper. New Bumper weighs 140lbs.

Looks like the KT09124BK is not just the 1" leveler...
I am deciding between this:
4runner-KT09115BK
Daystar - Driven by Design

and FJC- KT09124BK
Daystar - Driven by Design

Hoping to level and lift a little.

Hmm, sorry about that. There's been a lot of confusion on the Daystar part numbers, so just to be safe I checked three different sites, all had it listed that way. From what I can see, one kit is a full 2.5" meant for the FJ Cruiser (which will interchange as far as I know, and this is part number KT09124BK). The other part number is the 4runner kit that gives 2.5 front and 1.5 rear, which is probably what I'd go with.

a heavy bumper throws handling off, even quick highway maneuvers, i would call perkins & ask if they think a factory fjc setup ( which ever 1 u r purchasing out of the 3) can handle the weight of the bumper . which i heard is at least 150lbs. they may suggest u go with something like an OME 885 coil up front that sags less, which would be better than a factory spring with a spacer. it seems like alot of guys sooner or later go with a complete aftermarket setup when moving up to a steel bumper. just my 2c

Call Wheeler's Off Road. They know best and can answer your question immediately.

There are two types of Daystar 2.5''. Old kind and New kind. I believe the fronts are the same, but the rears on the new ones are advertised as Easy Install. I hear the new ones might cause minor rubbage on the control arms. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I think that "old v. new" still uses the same part number.

Old version uses two front spacers (inside and top). New version uses one spacer (top only).

You have it backwards.. :) Rear lift is the same. I have the "New" or "Easy Install' on my 08 with the topout spacer only in the front. The "Old" kit used a Smaller topout and a Spring Preload spacer, Which requires a spring compressor to install ect.. The only time you run into any rubbing is when adding the Wheel spacers, then you may rub the front fender slightly which can be trimmed very easily. All thou your rubbing may depend on the tire size you go with also... See J.A.'s website below. Tons of info.
