Daystar-wtf

:wtf:So I headed into my local truck shop to order my daystar 2.5/1.5 level kit and the sales rep behind the desk says "hey lets call daystar to make sure we order you the right kit." So he gives the daystar rep the product # of KT09115BK, and the daystar rep says "no way that will work with his X-REAS suspension" We wouldnt recommend putting this on because it "ABSOLULTY WILL NOT WORK." Holy good god, I didnt think getting a simple leveling kit could be this difficult. They suggested I do a 2 1/4 front lift using the product READYLIFT that is designed to work with X-REAS. Any advise from the gallery up in here????? I should just go and buy the Daystar 2.5/1.5 and send my truck to J.A. to install it.....LOL.

LOL.... I agree , he probably talked to Don , who told me the same crap at different times . I really don't know how the guy keeps his job.

Go to Toytec or Wheelers off road for a kit

Give Toytec a call.

Even though I have a Daystar budget lift on my Sport with X-REAS, I can't suggest buying from a company that doesn't even know their own products.

or .....buy my DS lift. Brand new , never used and it's the older kit which is supposed to be better since it has preload and topout spacer .

It's the 2.5 / 1.5 kit.

Daystar purchase

i called daystar before purchasing my kit from Keystone Automotive. I wanted to double check that the rep that i deal with at Keystone everyday was right. the guy a daystar told me that the kit would work on the sports but you can not remove the strut from the truck. he said other than that you should have no problems. i am waiting for my kit to arrive. according to ready lift their rep said that their system was not designed to work on the sports due to the complexity of the suspension system. i perferred the poly to steel anyway.
