Daytime Running Lights on 2000 Limited?

Looking at a local dealer's ad for a 2000 Limited 4x4. In the list of options, it is advertised to have Daytime Running Lights. Did the 2000 Limiteds come with Daytime Running Lights? Is this just a mistake/misprint in the ad?

yes they do, 4Runners got DRL in 2000

It is not a mistake nor a misprint. The 2000 Limited comes with Daytime Running Lights. The cool thing though is that if you are not a fan of DRL's it is really easy to disconnect. Just unlpug the gray connector between the battery and the fender wall. It is the easiest model to turn off DRL, unlike the 01' & 02'.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread man. But does know how to do the fog light mod SPECIFICALLY on a 2000? YES I have done all the searches on here and YotaTech but most are for 01' and 02'. The main question is after I disconnect the DRL via the connector by the battery, do I just do the fog light mod as instructed on JA's (jalaber) site:

Am I gonna have to still cut the green with black stripe wire. The reason I ask is because I cannot seem to find that DRL relay near the gas pedal. I know since I have a 2000 the relay is by the battery. I am just looking for a confirmation. Someone with a 2000 Limited or someone that has done the fog light mod, please chime in. thanks so much.
