I am getting ready to order some hids for my truck. My question is do I need the error eliminator, dual in dual out harness, and is going with the 55 watt worth the extra money? I'm looking at the slim ballast 8000 35w or if I got with the 55w I want the 10000

You dont need the error eliminator or the dual harness. Just stick with the 35w. 8K is going to be very blue with crappy output. 43k is a much whiter and crisper color.

Been running DDM for 30k miles. No need for error elim or dual harness or the relay they sell. I got 55W/5000K and very happy with it. 4300 is just barely "white" and anything over 5000 is blue.

I went with the 5k 35w. However I think they sent me a 4300k & 5000k headlight bulb...they look different colors now. Been running for almost 5k miles.

My ONLY comment on the DDM HID's: If you plan to run a CB or HAM radio, you WILL have interference. Their slim ballast's are NOT shielded.

Other than that, they are great for the price.
