deal on wheels!!!

hey guys my neighbor is getting new wheels and offered me these wheels for $500.00.. I told him I didnt have the money but he said he didnt care to take them and pay him whenever... what do you think they will look like on my truck? they are 20's with 275/45 tires... that are in good shape... eventually I will put a larger more aggresive tire on them...

and just so you offroad guys know.. my truck is a 2wd street machine it never goes off-road....

Not a huge fan

Honestly im not a huge fan of them. I really like rims on our trucks though to. Theirs just something about that look that i dont really like. But anyways its your opinion so if you like them then you should get them! Good luck ! Also what type of rims and tires are they and how is the tread on the tires... Maybe you can get them for cheaper
 
You may have to do some sanding/painting so that you don't have rust showing through like he does, but the rims look good. :D
 
they would have fit but I decided against them because when he pulled them off the truck I took a better look at them, someone along the lines bored out the center hub part to fit the truck, the gap between that and the lugs was real small... didnt look safe in my opinion... so still, rolling stock! thanks for the input tho fellas! I wish they would have worked but Im not comprimising safety for style ;):

Way to go-good choice. Safety first.

Besides then you would have had to go with painted or powder coated calipers to keep the street creds....

Probably would need the Tundra brake upgrade if you run larger rims and tires.

Tell us what you would like to see on your ride and maybe we can help you find them affordable somewhere....

thanks Ron.. that has always been my motto as well!


I will paint calipers and drums when I get some wheels...
also I did the Tundra brake upgrade right after I got my truck because I was smoking rotors left and right.. have not had a problem since! =)

I would like to eventually get these wheels.. they are Ultra Mako type 243 wheels, Just a lil broke right now.. Real Estate is deathly slow here so I havent sold anything in a while!

If anybody in SoCal wants a deal on some "blacked out" Procomp 18's I'm selling mine....yeah I know -they are only two weeks old. I'm putting different ones on instead. Selling for $200 save yourself $100 and no tax= $800 for all 4. I can't return them- 4Wheelparts doesn't take them back once you leave the lot:mad: They are perfect and I blacked out the bolts with black lacquer but if you like the stainless look I can make them look like they do out of the box.- they weren't etched. PM me if your interested! I'd be willing to ship- just got to get a price to your zip.
