Dealer trip next week.

Next week she goes in to the dealer for . lube , synthetic switch , filter , XM kit install & tire rotate.

As usual I will complain about the rattle in the front end , sulfer smell when window down , and the dreaded rear thunk/thud.......naturally these are all normal thing but just want to call it to their attention AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!

Do you have air suspension on your V8? I just did the Lexus TSB on my GX for the rear cluck. They put in a new drive shaft and 2 new stiffer rear lower control arm with stiffer bushing. Its been 3 weeks now and the cluck is gone. The kicker is that the new lower control arm and the bushing actually made the truck handle a little better.
I am not sure if Toyota will perform that TSB on the 4Runner, but it doesnt hurt to ask.

I doubt they would fix it but I'll complain about it again.
