Last year I was getting the same thing, I called it the 50mph shimmy. I changed my front brake rotors, I tried to get my old ones milled but they were so warped nothing could be done to save them, so I had to get new ones. That got rid of the problem immediately. However, here I am not more than a year later and I've got the same problem. Does anyone know what is causing my rotors to warp so quickly?

you are either buying really cheap parts, or expecting too much from the current braking system. I would look into the Tundra brake upgrade.

I can't remember what kind of rotors I got but my gearhead and trusted friend recommended them. I did make quite a few trips to Tahoe going up and DOWN the sierras this winter, so I'm sure that wasn't to great for the things. I just joined the forum and have seen quite a few recommendations for the Tundra setup. My friend and I changed the rotors and pads last year, would switching the equipment out for Tundra gear be much more demanding (technically) than that. Also, does anyone have a price idea? Thanks for the suggestions.
