Death Valley in May

We recently took our 03 4R out west, from Louisiana to Nevada to California, with lots of side trips on the way....6,600 great miles! The 4R performed flawlessly, and did a good job on the expensive gas out west, consistently earning mileage of 20+, usually about 21.5, and sometimes up to 23.5 MPG (actual calculations, not from the 4R computer). I was quite pleased, in this mixture of mountain driving, offroading and Interstate driving in between. Here's a few pics taken in Death Valley, most on the Titus Canyon road...we were dirty, full of bugs, but man the scenery was just perfect!! Few people, few vehicles, just us and nature!

I want to go in July. WHich places did you go to in Death Valley, like Canyons, places of interest?

Did you go to the Racetrack with the rocks? Sand Dunes?

Need to know what was worth it and what not.
