Debadging 8 Year Old 4runner...

I looked and couldn't find a concise answer, so my question is can I debadge an 2006 Galactic Grey 4runner without having the faded paint/contrast the debadged area? Also the the dealer put a etched, sticker dealership badge on the back as well above '4runner,' is that possible to get off without gauging the crap out of the truck?

Thanks for the help!

I debadged my 11 year old Gallatic Grey and it's fine. Eventually you will not notice it faded or paint contrast. Lol, its been a year and it still looks better than with the emblems on

Third this. You can probably get away with a mild polish wax, if there is anything left to see.

Even if it were there I wouldn't sweat it. You can just tell people you have custom ghost emblems.

Thanks for the input. About to get underway. Any thoughts for taking off a dealership badge/sticker that is practically etched into the paint (although was obviously put on aftermarket). Again, thanks for all the help/input.

heat gun, no heat gun...go steal your wife's hairdryer...heat and peel. get a old credit card to scrape under the letters.

after get some nice compound and a powered spinning thing ( the red one that chip foose pimps that sticks on the end of a drill and spins) some high speed polish action will help get the glue off.

i debadged mine and it left some ghosting but this blue fades in shade too so thats my fault.
