Too hungover to do anything productive all day, so I drove up to see where the snow line was.

Figured what the hell and tried to take some different pictures of my truck. Had good fun, just went up a logging road.....by the end I was driving through over a foot of snow, and it looked like only sleds and ATV's had been much further than I made it.....but I didn't get too carried away cause I was alone with not even a shovel or a working cell phone :headslap: So needless to say I turned around before I got stuck ha

The 4R did great.....the Cross Terrains are notably better on snow/ice/slush than the Dunlops on my 03. It actually never spun a tire unless I tried to make it do so, and the road was not plowed/sanded at all. Too bad, I wanted to test how far it would go, but it was getting later and no one was with me....so maybe another time. Also, it was only 1 lane, so turning around was a PITA. On the way down I had to pull over for nothing other than another 4Runner heading up! Thought that was kinda funny.....it was a white 3rd gen if it's anyone on here.

Anyways, what do you think?

Great photos! Can't say I am looking forward to the snow but that looks like a lot of fun! Wish I had some roads like that around here.

Here's one more.....don't ask why I was too stupid to close the door haha

Hitman; the elevation and in turn temperature changes so quickly on the mountains around here, and the winter temperature is usually so close to freezing point, that it'll change from rain to snow in a 5 minute walk. Downtown can get rain all night, drive 2 minutes to my house and there can be a foot of snow, drive 5 more minutes up the road and there's 3 feet

Also, the mountain in the background gets a lot more sun this time of year than the one I was on.....so lots of the snow must have melted

I can't wait to see some snow, I'll go on the logging trails here and get some pic's if there is some before I leave. Winter here in Germany is usually Dec-April and I head to the desert/middle east in January so I might not see any at all this year.

Cept when I go snowboarding next weekend in Switzerland.

Looks like you already have snow there. Would it be possible to send some snow here to Ontario? I'm missing the snow fun and looking for forward for snow winter.

As someone previously from Downunder it always amazes me to see cars/trucks in the snow. Sort of surreal. I hope I get some snow action in Big Bear this year.

Hey I thought that picture looked familiar!!

Thanks very much for the 4ROTM honour and all the nice comments guys! With all the wild modifications many T4R members have on their rigs, I always feel pretty humble with my stock 4R.....but it's still fun to go exploring and take pictures!

It's snowing quite profusely now.....so I'll try to take some more shots this weekend

Great to get some shots from the BC Interior. I am looking to try my downhill assist control this weekend on some snowy ground. My Winter Duelers are doing a great job with traction, so am looking forward to trying some of the Runner's features!

I'm actually not sure which Cross Terrains these are actually....they were stock on my 05 LTD. I have seen the 2 styles, but I'm not sure which is which. My tires are the style that closely resembles a Michelin LTX tread pattern with more horizontal siping than the alternate style.....make of that what you will hehe. Looks wise, these *appear* to be a more agressive tire than the other Cross Terrains.
