Thanks man, long time coming! GX and LC worlds apart in size. GX is a strong platform though, and market flooded with them around here.

Nice! V8 has been nice, much different than the runner.
Will probably keep stock for a good while, tint, AT tires, and sliders are first up on the list.

If only we could get the newest LC. I have family in Dubai, I considered flying over there and buying one eventually. Then I found out that you'd have to wait 20 years before buying a non-US-approved automobile.

LX and LC are same platform. GX same or a little smaller than the 4Runner. I really like the GX, seems nimble and very capable. My thing with Lexus is the grill, I really don't like it. If the grill was normal, I may have gone after an LX instead of the cruiser because the service is much better, at least around here. If going to replace the front bumper then grill a non issue.
300LC looks cool, but given the size and weight I'll take the NA V8 over the twin turbo 6.
I assume you are talking about the GX vs LC, which is really apples to oranges...
Of note, the 300 LC lost a good 400 lbs on the new platform, and is actually lighter than current gen LX and LC.
- 2022 LX600 (US version of LC300), Turbo V6: ~5500-5700 lbs
- 2021 LC, NA V8: ~5700-5800 lbs
- 2021 LX, NA V8: ~5800-6000 lbs

ah yea, missed those, sorry.
My understanding is most of the weight loss is through the new platform, not the engine itself.

Yeah, I'll have to read up on it. Will see how the twin turbos hold up. I believe there will be an EV/hybrid land cruiser in the US before too long.
Definitely worth a read. CarandDriver, motortrend, and several other sites have articles on the 2022 LX 600.
It is certainly too soon to say, but at least the turbo motor is not "BRAND NEW", it has been on the Lexus LS500 since 2017-2018. I think they will still be extremely reliable and far better than the competition from a reliability measure. However, turbos are complex machines added to an already complex system, so inherently will reduce overall system reliability. There is no way around that.
In other news, the original turbo and engine with 240k miles on my '93 Dodge D250 are still running with no issues 29 years later
