Deckplate and ISR mod on Supercharged runnner?

I've been interested in doing these mods, but am wondering if you can do it on a supercharged engine. I just want to get a little more power and mileage for cheap, but don't want to screw anything up.

You can certainly do them on a supercharged engine. It'll definitely help you gain a few more HP, though idk if it would do anything for mileage.

What about making it run too lean? We are moving out of state on Sat. Is it too late to do the mod before we leave (EFI adjusting itself)?

Are you running any sort of fuel adding mods with your supercharger (7th injector or fuel controller?) If not, you're probably already running somewhat lean up top. I wouldn't worry too much about the deckplate/ISR mods causing a worse lean condition, though. As long as you're not towing or driving the truck hard during your move, you should be fine.

These will be the first mods. We won't be towing anything besides kid, dogs, and cat. How about dust? We are moving to Nebraska and it's really dusty there. I'm running an K&N right now. Will the computer be able to learn before the trip or is it gonna screw up while my wife drives?

The computer learns over time, and such a minor mod as the deckplate/ISR shouldn't cause it to do anything out of the ordinary. Basically it will slowly adjust its settings to take advantage of the extra air, just as it did when the supercharger was installed.

As for the dust, you may have to clean the filter more often but as long as you keep up with your maintenance it shouldn't hurt anything. Just make sure you don't over oil the K&N as this may affect the MAF sensor.
