Wait... you don't even have a 4Runner? If you want to wheel like the guys on the video go spend 10K on some trail junk that can run 40's.

There are no widespread KDSS issues. In the future ask specific questions with background information people can use to give you proper answers. Geez.

Well... I mean, junk is a bit harsh... perhaps more like outdated, decript, barely held together, rust bucket on it's last legs?

I also love the Nokian's, but if you have not been able to get stuck with them, you are not trying hard enough! :frog:

Calgary hasn't gotten a ton of snow and my fj has the rear locker atrac and a three inch lift. I've tried... Lol

Xice weren't in stock so I went with the Blizzaks

High centring is always the worry as they said. For a tire that is both fantastic onroad, and still does very well in deep snow is the Nokian LT2. Any mud tire will be better in real deep snow, but will suck onroad. This is a great compromise. I have the nokian 8s and so far haven't been able to get stuck with them.

Are these studded only? I don't have any experience with these and I am looking for a winter only set of tires for a 2016 Trail. Not sure if I am going to go studded or not.

If its over 12" of new Sierra snow I am not likely headed out on the roads....
