DeeZee Running Boards Installed on Limited [w/ PICS]

Just installed some running boards I got for my girl's 4runner. They look great and are better than anything I've found out there. They look more along the lines of a X5 or Rover Sport and blend really well with the body lines. I wanted something much better than OEM since there was absolutely no lip to stand on and defeated all purpose of getting running boards in the first place. I bought the DeeZee running boards made for this truck and they fit perfect, they could sweep in more in the front and back, but for the current market selection, these are the best I"ve found. Check out the pics and let me know what you think. I have an inch of play to the inside if I need it, but we're going with the furthest outside point to start and we'll work it in if we have to. Thanks. [I'll add pics in a few minutes.]
So here are the pictures, Damn you toystory. I have some unbox photos on my camera, but these on my phone were quicker add. I think these are much better than the factory ones and I may end up tucking them in a little bit more to conceal the cutoffs. Maybe DeeZee could make a vinyle cap for that part to finish it off cleaner under the body. Overall, the brackets are heavy duty, solid construction, and give enough for a size 12D to get in and out. Not as good as my F150, but better than OEM options which we all know are useless. Before anybody like toystory asks me for pictures during the day of the front, 1/4, and back, I'll be doing that tomorrow or later when I have a chance.

deezee baords

Those look great. My wife is having an issue w/getting in and out of the 4R and I am looking at adding running boards. I was wondering the cost of the DeeZees? I am looking at the Neuf 4" bars. Thanks.

this running boards do look really good. I'd also be interested in seeing a few pics of the whole vehicle, just so i can see the whole package together.

I like these running boards more than the nerf bars, that i've seen online. I'm also not planning on doing any sort of serious off roading, so these look pretty sleek.

In the pics, which model did you get? that website lists 3 models, one all black, and one with chrome, etc? The pics are their website are kinda small, so i'm looking at pics from deezee.com..just trying to make sure i'm looking at apples to apples.

I too would like to see them on the whole vehicle. I believe you have the Black top and chrome trim. I think I'm leaning towards the chrome trim, but wonder how they would look with Husky Mud Guards?

heres a link to deezees site Dee Zee Truck Accessories - Online Catalog

I like the chrome look on his/her truck, but, i'm thinking that maybe i will want to get all black running boards, since my truck is black, and i want to get window tint, and some black rims for it..

Found this thread earlier that shows these boards in black on a black SR5. It is found in the new member area, so I thought I would post it within this thread instead of starting a similar one. I love the way these Dee Zee boards look similar to the 4th gen factory boards. The chrome looks great too as on the OP's.

Damn! I have to tell my wife now that I found a nice looking set off boards for a good price! My mother in law couldn't get in the car and now she will be able too argh!

In all seriousness they look great. D you fin them strong, I.e. do not give when you stand on them if two people are getting in at once?
