Defiant Light Bar 05 4Runner

Needed a light bar that got the lights up above the snow. Many of the mounts put the lights too low, great snow collectors. Paul Fox a Defiant Defiant Truck Products - Defy Terra Firma! made this one for me.

Fit was perfect, I was able to stand on it (200#) with no movement. Hella lights fit in the provided mounts perfect.

The install was easy, once I cracked the Toyota bolts.

Nice big lights! That's a clean setup, though I'm tempted to put mine up on the roof to avoid taking up more room in the garage. My bike rack extends the length anyway. So where does the bar bolt to? Was it difficult to wire them up?

Bolts to the bumper mounts. Open hood, look down at the two supports that bolt to the bumper, right in front of the radiator. There are 4 bolts on each one.

This slid right on, with just a nudge from my hand.

Wired easy, I used a floor mounted dimmer switch. This way I can pop on in any setting.

Looks great. How does it go through the lower part of the bumper? I know there are thin openings down there, but i wasn't sure if it just went through on opening on each side or two. If you could get some mounting pics that would be cool. Thanks for the post.:bluejump:

I'm not into drilling/welding and rewiring and heavy splicing, so this is great.
