Defiant Light Bar

So... I posted this on the "other" forum, but I did not want to leave you guys out... so here it is.

So I finally broke into the savings account and bought the newly revised Defiant Light Bar.

Let me tell you - This thing is SOLID. Paul over at Defiant added extra support brackets which he said would strengthen the bar. Just to test his work I stood on the bar and gave it a nice couple of bounces. Even with 185 lbs jumping up and down on the bar, it did not move.

I have to say that I am very supprised with the light bar. Money well spent.

Looks pretty cool. What made you go with the 4 offroad lights over a pair of HIDS? I figured both would cost about the same?:girl:

I am running HIDs from the headlamps. I bought the Hella 500s b/c I just want something that works for right now. When they break I will upgrade to something better.
 
The only thing I wish is that it was tighter to the body or more on top of the bumper area , but I would think it could be modified to fit.

Whats the other forum? Anyways how much did you pay for this? I'm pretty interested in mounting a set of Black Magics I have sitting in the garage.

Toyota120.com and I hear some pretty bad things about those Black Magics, they are not supposed to very good lights. Just my two cents....
 
Anyone care to post a link to the manufacturer website or something similar so that I can get more information on this?

Which model are you running?

There appears to be 3 styles. I want to see the prerunner style.
