Deformity on dashboard

Rig is an 07 Sport. Bought it with 22k miles on it. I never noticed anything on the dashboard before, but now I can see a deformity/ outline of a rectangular box on the pass side on top of the dashboard. Is this part of the airbag mechanism? I dont think this is normal. Anyone had this issue? And do you think dealer will replace it? Thanks.

If its what I have on my '05 then yes, its the airbag. Mine is not very noticeable, if you're at the right angles you can see some faint lines including this rectangle and a few semi-circles. Its not uncommon for an airbag to be faintly noticeable, especially if they are integrated into a one piece dash or steering wheel. If yours truly appears deformed, you might want to take a look at it. I have set off a few airbags outside of a vehicle and their power is impressive, i wouldn't want to mess with one in the wrong situation.

Yeah its pretty noticeable from driver's seat. Gonna see if dealer would replace or if this is common. I wouldnt think so.
