defrost not working on back right window panel

The defog on the back rear right window is not working any ideas. i looked at the metal elements and none are damaged.

That's a radio antenna, not a defrosting element.

Oops. I thought it was a defrost. I read somewhere it was a good idea to put a defrost in the right rear so to increase visibility for the driver. it sure looks like a defrost. i can see the one on the left panel is an antennae, but the one on the right had me fooled.

Both rear side windows have antenna grids in them, not defrosters. There is an antenna control module, which monitors the signals from each side, and automatically selects the one with the better reception signal for the radio to use.

really? Interesting. Amazing what Toyota does. It's too bad they don't tell you all these neat things they have in place.

A little off topic, I heard the glass (maybe just the windshield) is absorbs heat energy so the interior does not get as hot (can anyone confirm if this is true). Again, why doesn't Toyota tell people these things, it's too their advantage.
