DEI 556U - Immobilizer Bypass Problem

Hey All,
I've got a DEI system that's been installed into a 2003 4Runner and everything works fine except the remote start. I've got a 556U as the bypass with the programmed key in the box. I've got the red power wire, black ground, and blue status input connected along with the antenna ring around the oem transponder.

When I press remote start nothing happens except my remote stating "inhibit". No lights flashing, no attempts at starting, no sounds of relay's working, etc.. When I place my key in the ignition (don't turn it at all) and press RS it turns on without any issue. I've tried to place my key right next to/against both the 556U antenna and the oem transponder and nothing happens then also. I feel as though I may have narrowed it down to the bypass but I'm not convinced one way or the other. I'd appreciate any ideas that could solve the solution. Does anybody have this bypass installed? Thanks in advance.

It is definitely the bypass, did you try hard wiring it to your transponder wires?

I highly recommend just buying an FLCAN or Dball2. If you are anywhere in VA I can help more but I don't remember wire colors off the top of my head to give any direct advice. If you buy a bypass I can flash it and send it to you with the install instructions I know some shops get very crappy about flashing bypasses for people.
