Deleting Gallery Image

It seems I have filled my gallery and can not add more pics, so I have to remove some, but it tells me (You do not have permission for this action!) please help!

There has been a Gallery update issue since the spring. The mods were looking at off and on but I just gave up on it.

Hmmm...I'll have to look into this. In the mean time send me a PM and let me know which pics you want deleted and I'll see if I can do it.

There is a workaround. Instead of deleting the photo, simply upload a new photo file in its place. Go to the photo you want to omit and follow the edit photo link. then you will the the line that says:

Select new image or leave blank to use current one:

You can then browse your computer for the new file you want to upload and the old file will be replaced.

thanks rook...I tried that...it doesnt replace it...it adds new photo, but the original link is broken...I dont whats wrong with the gallery...disappointing to say the least..

Any update on this? All my gallery photos are old and I want to upload new ones. I have no space and it won't let me delete my own pictures... This shouldn't be that hard to fix....
