Delphi Skyfi installation advice

I've decided to make the jump to XM radio, and am planning to buy the Skyfi2 when it comes out. I'm very picky about not doing anything permanent to my 4Runner, so I'll probably use a Belkin cupholder mount for the receiver.

What I'd like to know is, does anyone have any suggestions for how to run the power/antenna wires to the receiver? I'm thinking about running them out through the small gap between the console and pop-out storage compartment. Is there any reason why that wouldn't work? I've never taken my dash apart, so I don't know what problems I may encounter with that approach...

I have a Sirius Sportster (about the same size as a SkyFi) and just did a similar install. I currently have it proped up in the cup holder (in my 4th gen) but do plan on mounting it near the little flip down door.

This is what I did (4th gen):
Antenna: I mounted it on the back of the truck, slipped the wire in between the body and the hatch, routed it along the rubber seal over to the top corner of the truck. I pulled the seal out a bit and routed the wire underneath. I then routed it inside the truck between the headliner and the plastic side panel all the way up to the front. At the doors, just transition to in between the rubber door edging and the headliner..down the A-Pillar to the dash bottom, across to the center console. When you get to the console, you can stuff the wire in between the silver accent piece and the actual dash up to the cup holder area. Or, if you take that piece out, you can route it up thru the little door hinge hole. This is where I have mine. If you need to know how to get the console pieces apart, let me know.. its simple.

POWER: I tapped the cigarette lighter power and ground and added a new 12V outlet. I stuffed it under the console and routed the power wire thru the same flip-down door hinge hole. Its an easy fit.

Currently I have the flip-down door mounted, and the wires sticking out the bottom side of it, going to the unit.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was wanting to do, down to the antenna, so it's a big help to know it will work.
