my mom is getting tired of her 91 ford explorer, and i conveinced to to buy a tacoma, and i get to put her exploder to rest. that truck is gonna wish is wasnt ever even welded together. first off, im going to do a hockey puck body lift, cuz its not gona last the life of the pucks, and im going to put on some ghetto tires, a the ones on now are bald (like down almost to the belts!!!) and weld in a huge monster roll bar, for obvious reasons, and a radiator protecting frame, and bash out the windows. the rest is pretty self explanitory.. i am planning on taking the bobcat, and making a 3 foot high dirt jump, and jump it!!! i will be mowing down trees left right and center. this is gonna be a blast, but im going to do it safely (if that makes any sense) and after the suspension craps out, and is sagging, im going to cut the top off, and put on these bmw rims i have and drive it to school!!! lol anyone interested in pictures??

You may want to put a 5 point harness in it if you plan to jump it, keep a fire extinguisher mounted really close to you in the cab, and wear a helmet.

Yeah, as safe as a rollbar sounds, start slow and take it easy. It's pretty easy to just jump a ramp full speed not knowing how high it'll fly, and then realizing it's more than you bargained for.

lol thanks for the input. i will strap one of those big 75 lb fire extinuguishers next to me, and i will definatly be putting on an old motocross helmet. this is going to be a blast. would it be safe to keep like less than a 1/4 tank of gas in it? logic being that less gas = less fire.

The 1/4 tank thing makes more sense from a cost standpoint. The issue with gasoline is that as a liquid it doesn't burn, the vapors given off are what burn so by leaving more room for vapor in the tank by having less liquid you're actually creating a more dangerous situation if a problem were to arise. But in any event, good luck.
