Denso fuel pump from an EVO8?

Is anyone using the Denso 195130-3360 fuel pump in their 4Runner? I don't want to take a chance on the Walbro190 lph and their infamous whine. Curious on whether this Denso pump will hook up as easily as the Walbro aftermarket replacement or if I'll need some adapters, etc.

I see no reason why it wouldn't work, however I don't think anyone here runs one.

There is one on ebay for $20... If I were you I'd snag it and see if it'll work for what you want.

Be sure to report back. I'll likely replace mine before summer wheeling starts if it works =D That walbro is LOUD when it's hot on the trail.

Should work fine. I ran the supra denso in the past on my Talon. 300lph and no wine. On side note the walbro 190lph is pretty quiet. The 450lph and 250lph are really loud

Hmmm.. Can't seem to find that one... Can you PM me the link?

I'm finding MR571544 which is the oem part # for the Evo 8 or 9... Not sure which. $275ish... Ouch! I don't want any whine so I'd pay a premium over the Walbro 190lph... But almost 3x is steep.

EBay and CL... Here I come!

I'm going to go through my parts tonight. I think I have an OEM evo 9 pump I can sell pretty cheap. I'll let you know

Thanks Jay! I just ordered two OEM Evo 8 pumps off of eBay -- I think I might be all set here. In fact, if one of them works out I may have another for sale. Stay tuned --

No problem, thing has been in my garage for years collecting dust. They are beasts, never heard of a failed used one and I know lots of people that have bought them on ebay and craigs.

Trying to find the same fuel pump that doesn't cost $300.00...

T4RunnerSteve or A.Wilson013, can you share where you purchased yours? I am finding DENSO fuel pumps on ebay that say they are for an EVO 8 or 9, but the part number stamped on top is not the same in the photos...

I got mine on eBay. There were a few on craigslist for CHEAP but we all know how craigslist goes... wasn't worth the effort of dealing with the idiots.

Really looks like this pump is hard to find used, they get bought up from everyone trying to run a low boost application and get OEM quality pump.

You may have to go the whinebro route.

Ah bummer, thought you guys had some secret fuel pump source I was missing.

I'll try some of the forums out there to see if someone's willing to part with a stock pump but looks like that's my only option.

Well, to complete this thread I got my hands on a Evo 9 fuel pump. It's part # 195130-3570, which according to internet sources (so reliable!) it flows between 190-205 lph. Just putting this in for reference!
