Denver/Littleton Meet/Run?

Hey was just wondering who in the Denver or Co Springs area might know of any meets or runs? Since I got my runner lifted and trail ready, been noticing alot more pimped out 4runners. I kinda feel like im part of an exclusive group now! lol... the other day, was driving thru the parking lot over at Clement Park (right next to Columbine HS) and saw a 4runner, the driver gave me a nod and a wave.

It got me to thinking, I wonder if he is a member here? and then I started looking at other 4runners wondering if they are members on here... Anyways, If anyone in the area knows of anything going on, It would be cool to check out some of the other members and their rides. Maybe make a run up to a trail or something..

it could have been me... I'm in that area very often.

There is a group of us that try to hit a trail every weekend. I'll send you a PM next time we have a run planned. Probly not this weekend, being the 4th of July and all, but we can probly hit a trail the next weekend if you want?
 
Im heading to twin cone on saturday so far im the lone 4runner, if your interested let me know we are meeting about 9 in the parking lot to The Fort, but will most likely stop in conifer to top off the tanks

Would be cool, what time do you think you will be back? I actually have Sat the 11th off for the UFC fight that night, I usually work every Sat and Sun so I may just take advantage of it and use my birthday as an excuse with the wife! :0)

Im also going to Hidden Valley/Dakan road with a couple friends from work on Wed/Thurs, if someone is interested in going with, pm me.
 
hey guys, I'll be in town and free for wheelin the week of July 27. I posted the "Looking for CO hospitality" thread, haven't got much response, let me know if anyone has some free time during the week to hit the trails, will be in town for the 10 days prior to that as well.

No thats not me but thats a solid rig. Twin cone was a little more than i could handle being stock with open diffs, made it about 90% of the trail, then parked it and rode the rest of the way with my friend.
 
I can probably make a run on a friday or sunday, hopefully ill have my lift and new tires by then but if not, ican only do some more mild trails 3-4 rating

well, I got Saturday cleared to go somewhere... BuffsRunner had said there was a group going up on Sat, but it looks like hes only got Fri and Sun free.

I guess Ill PM you ric and sn0wrunner and see whos going where. My first "real" run will be on Thurs with some friends at Hidden Valley Road/Dakan Road, so I dont want to go crazy, Ill still be learning what I can and cant do... Would love to go with you guys though and get some learnin in.

oh, and pritch, I would love to go with you guys too, will have to see how the schedule falls at the end of the month.

for sure,, we will be more than happy to show ya the ropes, lol show you a few things, give you some pointers, etc.

Im going to try to remember to post up our runs, as it seems we are getting more people that want to get on a trail, lol.. we are always happy to take newbies, rookies, beginers what ever ya want to call it, lol
IMHO we got a great group of really good people, that are willing to help others learn, and learn the RIGHT way, but at the same time, have FUN, :bigok:
 
I would love to get out with some other people so i can learn new things unfortunately i have to work every saturday since thats when people seem to want to buy new cars. I am looking forward to meeting some new people for the group meet.

Ric, do you guys generally go only on saturdays or do you guys throw a random sunday in here and there? If you do any runs on a sunday keep me in mind

well, seems like it mostly Sundays, but a couple of us go both, sat. and sun. I try to get up there both days..
we are going to start doing alot more trails on the Western slope this year (or try too,lol) so them would be overnighters/camping trips.

If you want to run something, post it up, Im sure we will have a couple guys willing to join ya :bigok:

its a fun run, nothing hard but senic, and the old Gold mines are cool.
IF we are lucky we will see up close some wildlife...
 
SWEET, hey we are going to have a campfire, and BBQ burgers and dogs for dinner.. u dont need to bring anything, JUST SHOW UP :bigok:
