Desert Dune vs. Desert Dune Metallic

I need to paint a scooped hood that I picked up. I need to paint it desert dune metallic to match (1a5). I called the local paint supply to have some paint mixed up and he said the metallic part of the paint is driving up the cost significantly. My other 4Runner is what I thought was the same color (K84) is actually desert dune without metallic...

Are there any painters on here that could comment on how noticeable painting my hood a non metallic color on a vehicle that is metallic would be? Keep in mind this is not a show rig, just looking to make it not obvious going down the road that the hood is a different color.

As a non painter, Noticeable yes! Enough to matter too you I cant say what would matter to you. Are you able to see the difference between the door color vs the fender? Is it enough to matter to you?
