Desert Shots

I spent the weekend exploring some parts of the local desert that I have not been to before. The purpose of the trip was some landscape photography. However, after that, I usually spend some time scouting out future locations for shoots. Here are some pics along the way.

I bought a cheap air mattress and 12 volt pump, and the 4runner was great for sleeping in. The new white FJ sure is appealing to me, but that thing is just a bit too small for sleeping in the back.

Awesome shot! Ok, I have to ask, besides the Jaos bar and lights are you running a lift with the BFG's? I assume the BFG's are 270's?

I don't have the JAOS bar anymore. I sold that a while back here on this forum. The BFG's are 265/70/17's, and I do not have a lift. I wouldn't mind lifting the front a bit so it doesn't rub when I crank the wheel all the way though.

Sorry. That's what i meant. 265/70... not 270. I want some bigger tires also but dont want rubbing and don't want it to ride like a tank. Good look you had with the bar!
