Couldn't every game be considered that? I could keep playing 1 for a lot longer so I'm hoping 2 is just as good. I did the pre-order and I'm hoping I don't regret it!

Beta was open to everyone but it was very limited to what you could do so you didn't miss too much.

It kind of sucks that all of the work invested in Destiny 1 will be for naught. Sure, you can still play Destiny 1 after 2 launches, but how long will that last?

I don't feel like it was all for naught.. I mean I was entertained for over 3 years and I get my cool Age of Triumph shirt in the mail any day

No you misunderstood my friend, you didn't buy the entire Destiny experience you bought Destiny Part 1. The EXPERIENCE is going to be a 10yr adventure spanning multiple games! *Does marketing jazz hands*

Half-joking aside, I'd be interested in looking at Destiny 2 when it hits PC. The first one seemed to be a bit lack luster and suffered from typical end-game grind-syndrome... but it wasn't a horrible concept. Though I'll be honest if Anthem seems as good as they are planning on making it (doubtful) I may slide over to that instead...
