I just got my first P2443 code the other day, left work late it was about 8F when I started up the T4R and got the CEL. Read the P2443 code the next day. I saw the other thread from a few days ago and a few other different threads and other info. My T4R is a 2014 with about 175k miles.
Our attached garage usually stays in the low 40s for typical winter temps, but with the cold we have been having, garage hasn't been getting better than mid-30s. So leaving it in the garage to "warm up" a bit hasn't done anything.
I did read about someone using some PB Blaster or something similar and got the valve unstuck. I thought I would at least try taking the switching valve off and bringing it into my heated shop for a Saturday or Sunday.
Wanted to ask, which side (driver or passenger) is bank 2? Info from a Tundra forum has bank 2 as passenger side? Anyone else had luck getting the valve unstuck with a solvent?
I did come across a video checking on the filter for the air pump intake for water infiltration. I took that apart and the filter almost looked new, just a bit of debris on the inlet side, just cleaned it up and put it back together.
If anyone has any experience getting these unstuck, that would be great. I don't see much warmer temps in the forecast, so I don't think it will clear on its own any time soon.
