Detail Woes: Remove Sheetrock Mud from grill

Yesterday I was traveling down the highway and noticed up ahead a big white spot in the road. All lanes were crowded and I could not get over to miss it...someone dropped a bucket of sheetrock mud and it was still wet. I went right through it.

Luckily, I slowed down enough for it to just get on the bottom of my front bumper and grill. It's thinly splattered. It also got on the outer edge of the tires and caked the inside of the wheel-well. Thank goodness for the mudflap LOL.

I know this stuff when wet will loosen and can be wiped off. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it cleaned off? I am thinking one of those high-pressure hand wands at the old self service carwash bays.

Please help!

try washing first as you mentioned. Try goo gone or similar product if it still doesn't work.

If it leaves any residue behind, you can go over it with a clay bar.

Thanks! I took it to the car wash today and the high power spray actually got all of it off with no problem!:thumb3:
