my paint was starting to look like poop, so using griots stuff, my buddy and i detailed it...

ignore my tjm, it is coming off and a new one is going on

Nice work, Lee. Can you give me the details on the stuff you used? Also, do you think it looks as good as it did when it was detailed professionally last year?

FYI- My Shrockworks bumper should installed by the end of Sept

sure.... first we powerwashed, used a stripping soap my buddy had, then powerwashed again. then he took a clean sponge (he had 3 of them) and went over it again to get the wheelin mud off that stuck on.

then we used griots polish and wax applied with the orbital, then just washed again. that was about it.

it was actually pretty quick and easy. i wish i had more exact info but we used the last of his stuff then threw it out, so unless he knows the exact items, thats all i got! hahah

we went wheeling in Erving, MA today, so it looks like poop again and i love it :biggrin2:

cant wait to see that shrockworks bumper!
