Detailing the inside, plastics?

Hi guys,

New 4Runner owner here. I am wondering what you guys use to clean the inside of your trucks. I have read that the armor all route will mess up the dash on the 4Runner. I used it all the time in my Subaru and it worked great with no issues but I want to make sure before I go ape on the inside of the 4Runner.

Thanks and sorry for the newbie question!

Bump?

I've read 303 Aerospace is good for all of the interior. I really don't want my dash to crack.

I've had very good luck with Aerospace 303 protectant. I also use their fabric cleaner.

I use Pinnacle leather cleaner and conditioner from autogeek.net. It's not oily and does a good job of keeping the leather supple and nourished (the key to it not cracking).

Invisible Glass to clean the windows.

Klasse cleaner and sealant on the exterior as a base. Not the shiniest wax, but it does a great job for a base coat. I use Pinnacle carnuba spray when I wash the truck to keep it shiny and slippery. It prolongs the life and protection of the Klassee wax.

I've been using Armor All on every car i have owned. From my Jeep Wranger, Pathfinder, now 4runner. I have never had any issues with cracks and my dash always looks brand new. Even the Jeep, with the top off baking in the sun all day. No issues!

I've had no luck with Invisible Glass. I tried their wipes as well as their spray along with a microfiber cloth and neither did a good job. I drove a half our out of my way today to Pep Boys to buy some Surf City Beyond Glass, after seeing a recommendation on some detailing forum, and the stuff is amazing. I tried everything on the windshield haze, and this coupled with a microfiber cloth pulled it off in one shot.

Surf City Garage

I never heard of the company before... apparently they make other products. Walmart sells some of the detailing stuff, but not many places carry the glass cleaner.

Invisible glass is a good product IF You buy the aeresol can. the pump spray doesn't seem to work as well.

I avoid the Wipes of any kind, they just get old and dry out long before I can use most of them.

Invisible Glass wasn't working well on my windows, either. I bought some Rain-X glass cleaner and it seems to be working well. Also got the 303 in the mail today. Works great.
