Dexron VI for your 3rd 4runner

Is anyone using Dexron VI for 3rd 4runner?

What are the pros and cons?

I've been using dexron III, but I'm interested in trying VI.

The consensus on the GM forum I used to be apart of was that if it came from the factory with Dex-III, then keep it Dex-III, even though GM says they're backwards compatible. Not sure if there's any merit to what that forum "thought".

The new merc/dex is latest release/technology. ...use it.
