did 17's come on 05 SR5's?

In general they did not. However, there are some SR5 4runners that came with the 17" wheels it is rare. If you have the VIN the parts dept can run what is called a build filter and tell you what was originally on the truck

Well... its not an 05, but my 04 SR5 came with 17's.

17" 5 spokes, same style as 2003-05 Limited wheels and second gen (2005+) Tacomas with the TRD Sport package have always been optional. The standard wheels are 6 spoke 16" wheels on the SR5. Depending on your region and what the distributor orders, you maybe only see lots of one wheel or the other. Here most are equipped with the 17" rims.

My 2004 4Runner SR5 came with the optional 17" alloy wheels as did virtually every 4Runner at that time in my area.
Even later model 4Runners in my area (Eastern Pennsylvania) all appear to have this wheel/tire size.

My 03 came with 17" wheels, as well as everything else except leather and navigation. It also had the gold emblems, wonder why?

I just purchased a 2005 SR5 (March '08) All 12 or 15 of the 2005's that I looked at had 17" wheels with the exception of one. I think it

Mine actually came with 18's as a option. I have a 17" spare though.
