Did all 4wd 3rd gens get the same driveshaft?

NO! Autos Split like this:

96-2000 Base/SR5
Multimode models, all years

The MM shaft is about 3 inches ish shorter in the rear. AFAIK the front shafts are all the same.

I don't have info for manuals.

Thanks! I guess I should have specified that I need a MM rear driveshaft, but this is good info.

Should all be the same.

To be more specific though, in case someone searches for it, the length difference is in the main tube, not the rear yoke.

It's complicated in the early years. I believe this info is correct, it's been a while since I looked into this. I have not considered the newer MM options.

Shortest: 3rz Auto 4x4
Middle: 3rz Manual 4x4 and V6 Auto 4x4 (same shaft)
Longest: V6 Manual 4x4

I though autos got one drive shaft and manuals got one.
