So I recently got an 86 with a 22RE with a blown head gasket. Pulled the head, and confirmed. I replaced the head gasket put back to gether and almost immediatly I was getting coolant in the oil once again.
When I replaced the head gasket I noticed that there were several coolant ports that were blocked by the new gasket (the ones right in between the cylinders). I wasn't too worried, since I have seen the port blocking on other various engines. But with this one I am starting to wonder. Here is a picture of the Head with out the gasket:

So is this the wrong gasket and that I should look for one with those ports opened?
