Did Toyota make a 1995.5 with a 3rd gen body?

Did Toyota make a 1995.5 that was the same body style as the 3rd gen?

I found a 4runner that was in nice shape and thought for sure it was a 1996 but he said it was a 95. I know that 95s are still 2nd gen but this one has the 3rd gen body. Possible?

Look at the VIN.

The 10th digit is the model year.
1995 = S
1996 = T

It's possible that it was manufactured in 1995, but I have never heard of a 1995.5 3rd Gen.

2 possibilities...

The first possibility is that Toyota built a one-off 3rd gen in 1995 and only sold one of them out of the thousands and thousands of vehicles they sell worldwide every year.

The second possibility is that the owner and/or the DMV mistyped a "5" when they meant to type a "6", or misread a "6" on some of the documentation as a "5."

Now which of those two things do you think is more likely to have happened? :

Thanks guys, after further looking I found that it was a 96 model. It was a little rough for what I was looking for.
