Diesel Power for the 4Runner Would be Nice!

How about a 3 litre turbodiesel, making 242HP - 290lb.ft. @ 2200RPM, with a simple 15 min. upgrade from Owen Developments. This set-up is available in the UK, in the Hilux.

Yup when I was in the Philippines a few months ago there were HILUX galore and all were the diesel models. Would have loved to put one of those on a ship and send back to the states.

Diesel vs. Flex Fuel

I agree, a diesel option would be great for the 4Runner. I would even be happy to have a flex fuel option. Think they'll come up with that option in the next few years?
