Diff Lock in a 2.7L 5-speed

Was the Diff Lock/2.7L/5-speed combination available stock in 3rd gen 4runners? If so, they must be rare.

How much do junkyard/recycler diffs with the locking feature go for? And what all is involved with swapping one in, cost-wise?

Seems this topic might have been addressed previously...FWIW, I did try a few searches, but apparently not the right terms...

Yes I'm looking at buying a 3rd gen 4 cyl 5 speed 4WD 4runner. Love to find one with the rear diff lock but probably won't- even if this combo was available stock, they are rare so I'll probably have to swap the rear diff assembly in.

$1200 is pretty spendy plus the cost of having someone install it- not up to that myself...
