diff oil and transfer case oil pls help

hello,

i have bought an 84 diesel 4runner and was wondering how often your supposed to....

change your front and rear diff oil...

and how often you are supposed to change your transfer case oil...

any help would be much appreciated

Welcome to the board.
Is that a rare truck down under? Post some pics.

I did mine (myself) with Mobil 1 synthetic lubes at the 64000 Km (40K Mi) mark as indicated in the maintenance schedule that came with my '04. Not sure how different the actual work is on yours (plug locations, fluid capacities) but there are some good threads around here to search for on doing the work.

yeah i reckon it must be a rare find because noone around here has see one with a deisel in it.

i just bought it cheap ($2800aus) and when i did some research i found out it was a very good buy.
