Difference between Scion t1809 and t1814?

Are there any differences between the two, besides the t1814 is newer and looks different? I am assuming it is plug and play just like the rest of them?

No one knows? Anyone have the T1814? Anyone know if the t1814 will even plug and play in my 05T4R?

:hello: Sorry to be annoying.... I am just going on a big roadtrip soon and want to get this installed before I go. I just dont know if the t1814 will plug and play like the rest of them? Not sure whether to get the t1809 or the t1814?
 
I was looking at the t1814 and it looked like it would be plug and play like the rest of the scion radios but I couldn't find out what cable to buy for ipod connectivity so I went with the 1809, now if it would just stop raining so I can get it installed.

Thanks for the reply, let me know how you like it when you intall it. I might go with the t1809 as well since I can't seem to find much info on the t1814. What cable do you need with the t1809? Is it the SC12235 cable? Do you just plug it into the back of the HU and then run the wire somewhere out the front for access to plug the phone in?

the SC12235 cable is the one you want, I bought one on ebay for $10 and $10 shipping. It's looking like it will be Thursday before it stops raining here and I get a chance to do the install.
