Are there any differences in the V8 between the 00-02 model years, and the 03-04 MYs. I've noticed that some of the previously available superchargers were split between those years. I figure that the reason the superchargers were designated for different model years was for the ECU that was specific for each model year.
Can anyone confirm if an early supercharger would fit the later model engine physically, assuming the ecu was not in the equation.
Thanks

For the 4runner it was, but it was available in the LC and tundra and lx470. I probably should've been more specific that I wasn't worried so much about the model, as opposed to the engine. Any help out there?
