Pushing on the rear end and hearing squeaks is not the rotots....
If you are decelerating from 70 and you feel it, it could be a tire out of balance. I have noticed under acceleration having a tire slightly out of balance (especially the fronts) is harder to detect than under deceleration. If it were the brakes, you would feel it under all circumstances (regardless of speed) when decelerating.
The lound clunk you heard could have been the tires picking up something on the road and throwing it against the wheel well.
Do you have XREAS, Air-leveling suspension?

I know the street was pretty clean when making that corner so I don't believe it to be debris that was thrown up against the wheel well. It was a way different sound then that.
No I don't have xreas or airleveling. I have the SR5 package with 17" rim/rotors/brakes upgrade. Sorry I didn't mention that before hand.

I looked at the lugs, but haven't checked to see if they are loose :bash: I'll do that next. Don't know what I was thinking, should have checked.

I understand that it's your steering. But there must be something MAJOR moving around significantly to get your steering wheel to move that much. That or something in your suspension has become detached. I would NOT drive that car especially on the fwy until you have it sorted out.
Also, since it's your steering wheel moving around that much, it's probably something in the front axle.

Well I took the Runner to the dealership on Friday morning and they found out that both front brake rotors were warped. They ended up resurfacing the rotors and putting on new brake pads. Then when they were test driving it they could still feel a small vibration and found out that the tires were slightly out of balance. The fixed that also. All this didn
