The Tacoma skid plate was included in some new 3rd Gens. It is purely for looks. It does not protect at all, unlike the one you posted Silver. That one looks pretty solid. How much do they want for it?

well the price can range for this one on multiple factors. how thick you want the actual plate, if you want it reinforced. apparently they custom make each one for every application, depending what you need it more


which in turn = pricey

i may still have to splurge for one

Or you can get a BudBuilt. Ive got mine sitting in my hallway against the wall until it gets warm enough to paint. I can tell you it is SUPER TOUGH. This thing will never become bent up like the old stock one I have on now.

And it has the laser etched BudBuilt logo
