I have a 1996 SR5 and I do not have Locking Differentials. I was wondering if i could take one off a 1998 Limited and put them in mine without a lot of fabrications. Does anyone know if I can?

My dad used have a 1996 4Runner with locking diffrentials. If you were to put locking diffrentials on, you need a switch the engage it. I think it would be a long and hard job to do. Also, is your 4Runner 4WD? I am not 100% sure, but I think you have to have 4WD to have that as an option.
