I own a 2001 4Runner, automatic.
I was recently pulling a boat and I parked on a slight incline. Upon trying to leave I found it difficult to shift from Park to Reverse. Now, with nothing in tow it is still difficult to shift from Park to Reverse. It seems as though the button will not depress fully (only in Park). If I am in Reverse, neutral or drive the button will depress fully and shift without problems.
At the same time the Trac Off, VSC, and ABS lights are always illuminated? I tried to disconnect the the battery for 15 minutes but that didn't fix the light problem.
Any ideas?
