digital display in overhead lights?

I feel like this is a stupid question, but I just bout an 03 Sport- with no owner's manual, of course- and I can't for the life of me figre out what the digital display panel in the lights above the center console is for! it's obv for the back seat passenger's use- but I can't figure it out.

Can somebody enlighten this newbie?

RSE (rear seat entertainment). It's a radio that passengers in the back seat can control (via a remote) and listen to (with factory wireless headphones).

Huh! Awesome- it of course came without either the headphones or remote- but since I got a kid who'll be riding back there- I guess I look into getting some! Thanks for the info!
