Digital Heat/Air issue

Anyone else have problems with the Heat/Sir controls glitching out when its cold? I will rotate the nob to the right to increase the temp setting and with will back off a few degrees. So in order to have a higher heat I have to rotate it very fast.

This is a stock control unit in a '00 Limited.
